As the official coordinators of a free Earth Day event since 1990, Earth Day Earth Day Alliance (EDA) is partnering with San Luis Obispo County Parks and the San Luis Obispo Botanical Gardens to produce the annual SLO County Earth Day. Regional Transit Authority (RTA), a major sponsor, will arrange for free bus rides from all areas of the county, to and from the park throughout the day.
Applications for sponsorships and exhibitors are accepted through March 30, 2012. Businesses, groups, agencies and individuals who would like to play a major role in Earth Day 2012 would receive special recognition for their participation and contributions via banner placement and a premium boot site, in addition to other Earth Day 2012 benefits. Volunteers are also sought to make this event a major success.
