Halloween in Cayucos
Thinking
of visiting Cayucos this month? One of the best things to do at this
time of year is to immerse in the town's 12+ year old tradition: joining
or enjoying the Halloween Walk on Halloween Day.
Each
year, the students of Cayucos School dressed up as characters or just
being themselves, and participated in a parade and visited
establishments in town. The retailers along Cayucos Drive, South &
North Ocean Avenue as well as those by the pier, stopped during that
hour, and came out to watch and cheer, and hand out candies. 
One
year, the school canceled the walk and there was an uproar among the
townsfolk. The school resumed the popular parade the next year, and had
not stopped since. 
Check out the ingenuity of the homemade costumes and the norm found from the stores. The young and old, and tall and little had a good time!
Halloween
in Cayucos is full of fun, and enjoyed by kids and adults alike. Come
October 31st, be sure to check this out, and check it off as one of the
fun things to do in Cayucos!
